What are the top travel destinations in 2025? Well, New Year\u2019s Day is not only a national holiday, but it\u2019s the very first day of a brand new year and the perfect time to reset. Whether you\u2019re trying to start a new diet or check travel destinations off of your bucket list, this is a great time to set your goals for the year and plan ahead, allowing you to make the most out of the entire year ahead of you. If you are anything like us, then you likely think of New Year\u2019s Day and think: new year, new adventure.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

We are The Dandelion Journals, a women\u2019s travel group that takes small groups of women on unforgettable journeys each year to some of the most incredible destinations around the globe!<\/span><\/p>

From Japan over to Egypt up to Ireland and beyond, we use our detailed specially curated itineraries to help our guests get the absolute most out of every destination. So, with the new year just a few weeks away, what are some places that women looking for an adventure need to see?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

New Year New Me: How Traveling Can Help Get You Out of Your Comfort Zone<\/b><\/h2>

If you are someone who doesn\u2019t travel much, ask yourself: why not? Chances are, you might have some sort of fear or hesitation holding you back from taking that first step. This is often especially true for people who would have to travel alone, more specifically for solo female travelers. Not only can traveling alone be stressful, but doing so as a female can be exceptionally scary for a variety of reasons. But what if you didn\u2019t have to do it alone? Women\u2019s travel groups like The Dandelion Journals take all the stress of traveling as a female away! Not only do we do all of the planning and coordinating for you, but you get to travel safely with local guides, going to areas that are known to be safe, staying in safe hotels, and you get to travel with a small group of likeminded women.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Without further ado, let\u2019s get into our list of the best places to travel to in 2025: Kyoto, Cairo, Heidelberg, Guimaraes, and Rome!<\/span><\/p>

Why Travel to Kyoto, Japan?<\/b><\/h3>

If you\u2019re like us and think \u201cnew year new adventure,\u201d the city of Kyoto is a must-see for women traveling in 2025! This beautiful city is the cultural center of Japan, providing visitors with an immersive experience into the essence of Japanese culture. Kyoto is nicknamed the \u201c<\/span>City of a Thousand Shrines<\/span><\/a>\u201d because of the vast number of temples and shrines that can be found across the city. Are there actually a thousand? \u00a0Arguably, there is never a bad year to travel to Rome. It is one of the most famous and historically significant cities in the world, having been the capital of the esteemed Roman empire for hundreds of years. Many tourists will visit Italy just for Rome, and many more will visit Rome just to see the famous Colosseum. In addition to the ample number of reasons there are to visit Rome in any given year, next year will be special because <\/span>Rome will be celebrating the Jubilee in 2025<\/span><\/a>! This is a major celebration of the Catholic Church that happens only once every 25 years and lasts from Christmas Eve of 2024 all the way to January 6th of 2026 – so just over a year.
